I highly recommend Emma for all your wedding planning for a perfect Italy destination wedding! I’m several months overdue of writing a review for The Amazing Emma!
I call her that, because that’s exactly who she is and was in helping us prepare and plan the most memorable day of our lives! It all started a year ago by pure coincidence, when we were vacationing in Sorrento. We met another couple on the same day we got engaged, they got married.
Emma happened to be their wedding planner, and stopped by the next day to visit. We briefly were introduced to her, and jokingly expressed our interest in getting married next year in Italy and maybe we would use her services. Needless to say, I didn’t realize that our casual joking comment would turn into a dream come true reality.
When we returned back home, I contacted Emma and the planning began! Emma immediately had fantastic ideas, not to mention had all the knowledge needed for us to have an Italian civil ceremony.
She did all the leg work for us, went to various places for venue options for the ceremony as well as restaurants for reception. We worked together many months thru emails, and Skype calls. She was extremely patient, despite my “type A” personality and me wanting to have control over everything! She even helped plan hotels for our 25 guests to stay. We had people that came from 4 different countries, with a variety of budgets for hotels, so we couldn’t all stay in the same location. Emma was able to negotiate a villa for some of our family, as well as find other hotels in Positano that were affordable for other guests. During our trip, Emma went out of her way, to meet us several times before the day of ceremony, take us to Naples for all the legal paperwork, as well as help with organizing transportation and an amazing dinner event the night prior to our wedding. The day of the wedding was perfect! Emma was there from early on, helping me with an awesome recommendation for makeup done in my hotel room to taking my groom and his best man to the ceremony (so he wouldn’t be late). She stayed with our group the entire day and night, including when the party continued on at the late night Disco on the Rocks! Our guests also had a fantastic time as a vacation, and said the wedding was the best they’ve been to!
As I look back at all our pictures, and the amazing wedding day, I have such fond memories of it all, and it couldn’t have happened without Emma!
