From our very first planning call, this couple had a crystal-clear aesthetic in mind. For their welcome event, we guided them toward a fresh white and yellow Amalfi inspired color palette. Vibrant, joyful, and perfectly in tune with the southern Italian spirit.
For the wedding day, the vision shifted to something more refined. A full white for the ceremony, and a dreamy mix of white, taupe and soft blush for the reception dinner.

Ceremony at the Tea Garden: All White, All Beauty
The wedding ceremony took place at the legendary Tea Garden, one of the most breathtaking ceremony spot in all of Italy. To honor the garden’s natural splendor, we kept the floral design pure: full white blooms with touches of lush greenery, letting the centuries-old landscape speak for itself. Florals were crafted by Malafronte Flowers, Ravello’s finest floral atelier, whose artistry transformed the garden into something truly otherworldly. A classical duo of a violin and harp played the ceremony soundtrack, filling the air with timeless elegance.
Reception Dinner Under the Crypt: Romance Meets Drama
For the reception, we moved guests to one of Villa Cimbrone’s most iconic spaces: the arcade of the crypt. Here, contrast became our design tool. Modern ghost chairs lined a long imperial table, surrounded by an abundance of candles and romantic soft-toned florals. The result? An atmosphere that felt simultaneously ancient and utterly contemporary and above all moody, intimate, and impossibly beautiful.
Villa Cimbrone’s one-star Michelin restaurant team curated an exquisite dinner featuring two pasta courses, followed by guests’ choice of meat or fish. For the wedding cake, a decadent millefoglie with a charming surprise: a custom decoration shaped like the couple’s dog. After all, even the most elegant celebrations have room for a little heart ! A sweet nod to the furry family member who simply couldn’t make the trip to Italy.
The Details That Made It Personal
The groom, a restaurateur and owner of a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant in Vancouver, naturally brought deep culinary passion to every aspect of the event. To set the tone, the welcome dinner was featured cuisine by Chef Gerardo of Trattoria da Lorenzo, also Michelin-recognized. To make it even more immersive, we added two live experiences: a mozzarella making station and a pasta show that guests absolutely loved.
The bride, founder of Olive and Piper, a jewelry company, went above and beyond by creating a bespoke wedding collection. Specifically, every female guest received a handcrafted piece of jewelry from her exclusive wedding collection! Male guests received personalized cork openers featuring their own face. Needless to say, it was a uniquely thoughtful touch that had absolutely everyone talking.
A surprise groomsman appearance (coordinated secretly with the bride), sparklers during the first dance, a roaming band called Three of a Kind keeping the energy alive through dinner, and a floral-adorned photo booth corner in the crypt rounded out an evening of pure magic.
