This amazing adventure started back in November, when I first met the bride in person.

From the beginning of the planning process they had a very clear idea of what they desired for their wedding. A very special, intimate and memorable celebration on the Amalfi Coast with only 50 guests, living an authentic Italian experience. 

The Amalfi Coast offers beautiful venues but E&K desired an unique location for their wedding. Can you think a better place than a wonderful private island? 

About Li Galli private island

Surrounded by the Mediterranean sea, it is possible to admire Li Galli from the sea! and, who knows, if you listen closely, you may still hear the mermaids singing . Li Galli island has a very special and unique atmosphere. To the owner it si very important to preserve the uniqueness of the Island. For this reason, they only host a few weddings per season.

We felt honoured that he and the whole team welcomed us from the beginning, kindly answering to all our curiosities and needs. 

The wedding day

One of the most challenging part of the planning, was to decide which area would have been more appropriate for each moment of the wedding event.

Where to hold the ceremony? What about the cocktail hour and the served dinner? Where to do the wedding cake cut? How to have a fun after party?

Our idea was to move guests through the island and the different spots to offer a crescendo of emotions. We want all of them to live different vibes during the different moments of the wedding day.

 A very romantic pinky colour palette for the cocktail hour and dinner at the main terrace overlooking the wonderful scenario. 

Thanks to the support of incredible wedding vendors we created an exquisite, cohesive, and seamless experience for our guests.

During the cocktail hour we had a personalised bar designed by Lemon Tree Paper co. We placed a piano in the pool that together with the pianist and vocalist created the most romantic atmosphere.

For the reception we planned one long imperial table to accommodate all the 50 guests and we entrusted Antonio Mellino, owner and chef of the 3 Michelin stars restaurant I Quattro Passi, with the refined tastes of guests.

Before moving to “the Cave”, the Island’s small and private Beach club, where we planned the neon party, E&K had their first dance and the wedding cake cut with the fireworks by the main terrace overlooking Capri. 

Not only the wedding day!

The best thing was that the couple really wanted to plan a real experience for their guests through other events over the days, to make guests feel and live a Mediterranean experience. 

For this reason, we planned a ‘Welcome Dinner’ at Il Riccio in Capri as a warm up for all the guests. The welcome day was designed it in vibrant colours with a main touch of blue for a fun night! 

Then, We planned to have a beach party at Conca del Sogno in Nerano where guests had the traditional spaghetti alla Nerano and attended to the famous Sgroppino show, before boarding on the Tortuga Sailing boat to sail along the coast and enjoy the sunset in front of Positano. 

The colour palette for the beach day was ‘tutti frutti’ with personalised ceramic charger plates and personalised napkins and placemat with menu printed on it.

For the ‘recovery day’, inspired by ‘Carretto collection’ from D&G to plan a nice and relaxing day by the pool on Li Galli Island, to enjoy some good music and a glass of champagne.
