Real Catholic Wedding in Praiano

At the beginning of their adventure of planning a destination wedding in Italy, SaraAnne and Elie came all the way from California to the Amalfi Coast for a site inspection to personally search the venues and to get to know the place to understand which one was the best option to suite their personal requirement for their wedding day.

and… the came on the area for the site inspection day one year before the wedding day!

I drove them with my beautiful FIAT500 along the coast!

With my support of scheduling the site visit in advanced, on the day we manage to see more than 10 venues in one day, all located between the Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. They had the opportunity to see the different town and helped them to understand and decide that Praiano was the right place for them! In fact, they had the Catholic Ceremony at the Church of San Gennaro in Praiano and walk with all their guests to the beautiful hotel Tramonto d’oro.

Praiano is located in the heart of the Amalfi coast and is situated in one of the most beautiful and characteristic small bays of the area, overlooking the picturesque beach of “La Praia”. Praiano is the last remaining mariner’s village of the coast. At just 7 km from Amalfi and Positano it is also just a few steps from the crystal clear sea!

The Church of San Gennaro is for sure one of the most beautiful we have on the coast! With its magnificent dome covered with yellow and blue ceramic tiles, with an huge square that offer a breath taking view over the coast line! After the ceremony, with the bride and the groom and all the guests we walked to the Hotel Tramonto d’Oro with the music of a guitar and a mandolin!

The hotel Tramonto d’oro also offer an enchanting wall of windows overlooking the sea and the island of Capri and makes this place of choice for soaking up that extraordinary sea view. While the guests where enjoying their aperitif time, with SaraAnna and Elie we went to the beach of la Praia to take some couple portraits!
